Homework blog...
I decided to respond to part C of #6. the first question it asked was should everyone be willing to make sacrafices during a time of war. I responded by saying yes, because if the men and women are making sacrafices to die and fight for us when they may not even support the war, why should we sit here and live a fabulous life. They are makeing way lager sacrafices for us than we will have too, so I think people should be willing to make sacrafices. The next question partC asked was, should people pay higher taxes? I think this can be debated both ways, and I am honestly torn on this question. I guess in order to help the war proceed we may have to pay higher taxes, but in this economy I believe that would be difficult to do. The third part is saying how far ae Americans willing to go if they support the war, and I believe that if they truely support it than they are willing to do anything. Lastly Bush was tellig people they can have their cake and eat it too, because he was not highering taxes while in war. Therefore people were not hurting from the war or having to pay anything anything for it.

I totally agree with your idea of wartime sacrifices. If some people are willing to risk their lives, the others can pitch in too! I understand that you cannot put a price tag on human life, but this is a good way for civilians to do their part.
